Air transportation is the youngest, most expensive and fastest mode of transport. The choice in favor of air transportation is dictated by considerations of the urgency of delivery of the cargo, and hence its importance and cost. Air freight is a way to deliver the most urgent and expensive cargo, or urgent cargo to hard-to-reach places where other modes of transport simply cannot deliver it. If time is the main factor, then air cargo transportation is the best option.
